(the newsletter also shared details of my new online prenatal Pilates program in the works along with a little “bump-date”  if you’re into that kind of thing :-)

I ALSO announced that due to popular demand I’ve decided to host one more round of The Pilates Body Program before I take off on maternity leave. It wasn’t in the plan, but you ask and I deliver! If you’ve been thinking about it, now’s your chance. No guarantees when the next PBP will take place once this babe arrives :) The next round will begin on March 10th, registration will open March 1st.

Pilates before & after

I received these questions via email today and thought they may be helpful for those of you who are considering joining this round.

Q: I am considering signing up for the next 6 week online session that starts in March and I have a couple questions.

1. Is this a 6 week program with and end date or do I have to sign up again every 6 weeks?

The program you sign up for will begin on March 10th and last for 6 weeks. The unlimited email interaction, weekly videos, new meal plans and weekly check-ins will conclude at the end of 6 weeks. However, you will still have ALL of the meal plan information to keep forever and all 6 videos are yours to keep.

2. Is there direction on what to do after the 6 weeks are up?
The goal of the 6 weeks is for you to develop new habits in terms of fitting Pilates into your schedule, planning meals and following a super healthy meal plan. I work with you to set 3 week, 6 week and process goals and check in with you on your specific goals throughout the program. They are different for everyone. At the end of the program I have you declare what your plan is moving forward so that you commit to continuing in a lifestyle you are proud to lead. Some people like to stick with it 100% on their own and others like to modify it to fit their changing needs after the program concludes. I want to help you with the tools and the new habits so that you can bring those habits and tools into your lifestyle and make it your own long after the program concludes.

3. Do I have access to the workots after the 6 weeks?

Yes! They are yours to keep. You just have to download them and save them to your computer and/or iPad.

4. Can the workouts be done on my time or are they only available online at certain times?

I release 1 new video per week and you do that video 4x per week for the duration of the program. So Week 1 you will have access to workout #1, Week 2 you’ll have access to workout #1 and workout #2, etc. You can do them anytime. They are not live or set at specific times so that you can make it work with your schedule. Think of them as 6 different 40 minute DVD’s that you can do from home on your own time.

5. I am a 44 year old mother of 3, not severely overweight but just feeling out of shape/untoned and could stand to lose about 8-10 pounds to be at my ideal weight. Is this program designed for people like me?

Absolutely! My goal is to set you up to create new habits, use new recipes and squeeze Pilates into your busy life so that you don’t have to sign up again after 6 weeks. We will work together via email for 6 weeks it’s my intention to set you up so that you feel confident to do it on your own once the program is complete. I wouldn’t anticipate paying any more than the one time registration. I have had plenty of women do the program multiple times because it’s helpful for them to have the accountability. I do offer a discount for second-timers but although helpful, I don’t think it’s necessary to sign up again to reach your goals.

I think this kind of program is perfect for someone like you who is just looking for a little structure and help to get them back into a place where they feel more fit, healthy and energized. I’m sure you’re incredibly busy with 3 kids so the fact that these workouts can be done at home, on your own time, makes me think that it is something you’d be able to stick with. I only encourage people to do the 40 minute videos 4x per week so that it is manageable and do-able. And it is still enough to see results!

There is some meal planning and cooking involved though (which should be true of any program that will help you lose weight) so that is something to keep in mind when deciding if this is a good fit for you. I think it’s very manageable once you get the hang of it, but it might take an open mind in the beginning depending on how much time you currently spend in the kitchen prepping food :)

The meal plan is focused on balanced meals; balancing healthy fats, lean protein and healthy carbohydrates. It is low in gluten and dairy because it is anti-inflammatory and suitable for weight loss. You can read more about the concepts behind an anti-inflammatory diet by clicking HERE.

If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to ask. You can also check out this FAQ for more detailed info. I’m happy to help and want to make sure this is a good fit for you before you join. And stay tuned for more info toward the end of the month!
